Comparable to the forests of Norway!! ⛰️The beauty of Changping Valley is truly understood by those who love nature. After all, a 24 km round-trip hike is really! Awesome! Changping Valley is more outdoor-oriented, with primitive forests and streams to see. It mainly relies on hiking or horseback riding. Half of it is a boardwalk and the other half is a muddy ditch, which is more suitable for hiking enthusiasts. 🎒Equipment: Down jacket, sweater, warm hat, sunscreen, thermos, oxygen tank, glucose, motion sickness pills 💊, ibuprofen, hiking poles, dry food 🏠Accommodation is in Siguniangshan Town, a 5-minute walk to the entrance of Changping Valley Scenic Area. 🚏Itinerary: Starting point Sigula Temple ➡️ Chongchongjiao Waterfall ➡️ Kushutan ➡️ Jiarongdu Waterfall ➡️ Xiaganhaizi ➡️ Shangganhaizi ➡️ Hongshitan ➡️ Muluozi (🏁highest altitude over 3,600 meters) 😿About altitude sickness: Bring more bottles of Coke, you can drink it in advance. I also had altitude sickness when I came one day. I bought a box of ibuprofen (normal price) in Siguniangshan Town the day before, and I felt much better after taking it. When I hiked Changping Valley the next day, I drank Coke first, and then I had some altitude sickness when I walked halfway. I immediately took ibuprofen, and I had no altitude sickness in the later stage. ⚠️Some tips: 1⃣️Friends who want to ride horses can choose to ride horses in the first half of the journey. The price of riding horses in the second half is ridiculously expensive. Of course, if you are already very tired at this time, you have no choice but to ride horses. 2⃣️Be sure to go to the end, Muluozi. The scenery of Muluozi really made me cry. The primitive forest along the way is very beautiful, but Muluozi is even more beautiful. 3⃣️Prepare enough food, it is best to bring self-heating rice, rice is really a good thing to replenish physical strength. You can only have the strength to hike when you are full. 4⃣️The last bus must be taken at 17:00 on the same day (in fact, there are many local private cars that can pick up passengers after 17:00, so don’t worry about not being able to return to the mountain town. For safety, it is recommended to arrive earlier and calculate the hiking time. 5⃣️It is best to bring an umbrella. The weather in the mountains is unpredictable. We were lucky enough to have a heavy rain when we were about to walk to the scenic spot exit. You must avoid catching a cold and take care of yourself when you are out. Facing Mount Yaomei, cross forests 🌳, meadows 👒, and streams 🏞 to reach Muluozi, with a 360-degree view of the snow-capped mountains. Lying on the lawn and feeling the cool breeze with your eyes closed is really happy!!!
