Jingfu Enclosure in Puxia Village, Xinfeng, Jiangxi

Jingfu Enclosure at the foot of Fox Ridge is located in the Fox Ridge Xia Group, Puxia Village, Xiaojiang Town, Xinfeng County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province. Built in the Qing Dynasty, it faces east and sits on a west-facing, brick-and-earth structure. This two-story building has a gable roof. It is rectangular, measuring 92m in width, 43m in depth, and 6.8m in height, with a total area of 3,956 square meters. There are blockhouses at the four corners and three red stone gate frame courtyards on the east side. The main courtyard gate is a wood-imitating four-pillar three-room three-story style, with a stone plaque embedded in the door frame, which reads "Jingfu Enclosure." There are painted patterns on the lintel. The residential buildings are composed of several groups of horizontal and vertical houses symmetrically intersecting each other, all connected by lanes. The central axis is composed of two wells and three halls. The patio is connected to the sewer and discharged outside the wall through a culvert. There is a well on the west side of the enclosure, which is more than ten meters deep and 2 meters in diameter. All the living facilities in the enclosure are complete. Closing the enclosure gate will not affect life at all. It is a typical closed Hakka enclosure building. Part of the building has been damaged, but it has certain reference value for studying the local history of enclosure buildings. In 2006, it was included in the list of immovable cultural relics protection in Ganzhou City.
