Taizhou-Lizhong Water Forest Park

Taizhou Lizhong Water Forest Park is a national 4A-level scenic spot located in Lizhong Town, Xinghua City, Jiangsu Province. This is the largest artificial ecological forest in Jiangsu Province, covering an area of ​​1,550 mu, including 1,050 mu of forest area and 500 mu of water area. In the early 1980s, the local area developed the wasteland into dug areas and planted trees such as pond cypress and metasequoia, forming a unique water town landscape of "water in the forest, fish in the water, and birds in the forest." The main attractions include the "Heroes Forest" named after the 108 heroes of the Water Margin, and the long wooden corridor "Heroes Road". There is also a picturesque sea of ​​February violets, with 100,000 February violets clustered under the Metasequoia beside the waterway. In the misty forest fantasy, the air is filled with water vapor every hour from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the sunlight shines through the gaps in the Metasequoia trees, forming beautiful light and shadows. Visitors can also experience bamboo rafting, travel through the forest wonderland, and listen to hundreds of birds playing. In addition, attractions such as the forest maze and Little Jiuzhaigou are also unique.
