Spring, Wanfenglin again

This is my second time to go to Wanfenglin in Xingyi, Guizhou within a year. I went there once in late August last year during the autumn harvest season. It was shocking to take a sightseeing bus up the mountain, but I didn’t stay in the scenic area at the foot of the mountain, which was a bit regrettable. After the Spring Festival, I took my brother to fly directly to Wanfenglin to start an early spring trip. I started paying attention to the weather in Wanfenglin after the Spring Festival. Beijing was unusually cold and the temperature in Wanfenglin was often in the single digits. I felt it was a bit early to go, but I had to take my brother with me and didn’t want to change the itinerary. The weather forecast showed that there would be a sunny and hot day on the second day after we arrived at the Wanfenglin Scenic Area (February 11), so we took this opportunity to go up the mountain and take a sightseeing bus for a tour. Wanfenglin is basically shrouded in fog in the mornings in spring. There is a period of misty clouds after sunrise, which feels great. After 10 o'clock, the sun illuminates the golden canyon in the scenic area. I first took a time-lapse photo on the balcony of the inn, then took a taxi to the entrance of the scenic area and bought a tour bus ticket (free of charge for people over 60 years old). It is recommended to go up the mountain after 3 pm, when the light is best. The mountain is still picturesque, but not as stunning as the first time. The rape flowers haven’t bloomed much in front of Baguatian. The best place to see rapeseed flowers is the core scenic area of ​​Wanfenglin, which has three main villages (Shangnahui Village, Zhongnahui Village and Xianahui Village). The Yunqi No. 1 Inn I booked is at the end of Xianahui Village, where the rapeseed flowers and scenery are the best. There was still fog on the morning of February 12, with a slight mist and rain in the sky, but the scenery felt even more beautiful, with a feeling of misty rain in the south of the Yangtze River. We rented an electric car that day and traveled almost every path and village in the scenic area. At noon, we had sour soup fish and beef in the scenic area.
