Visit Tianxiu Temple

Located on the mountainside of Dajian Mountain, Tianxiu Temple is an important gathering place for Xizhi residents. Many people come here for hiking and leisurely walks. The temple's plaza features bumper cars that children love, and it's common to see grandparents joyfully playing with their grandchildren. Established in 1951 and rebuilt in 1991, this medium-sized temple has a main hall on the first floor dedicated to Guan Sheng Dijun, the patron deity, along with his son Guan Ping and subordinate Zhou Cang. The right side of the hall honors Xian Gong Fuyou Dijun, while the left side is dedicated to Siming Zaojun, the Kitchen God. The temple gate is adorned with illustrations of the 24 solar terms, and the interior walls feature numerous murals related to Guan Sheng Dijun. Situated on Dajian Mountain, one of Xizhi's four famous peaks, the temple offers stunning views. Tianxiu Temple is only about a 10-minute drive from Xizhi city center. You don't need to hike up the mountain; you can enjoy views of Xizhi, Neihu, Xinyi District, and even catch glimpses of Linkou Plateau and Guanyin Mountain from the roadside or the temple plaza.
