If you're wondering how to spend two days and one night in Anhui, just follow my route! No crowds at all, and the scenery along the way is absolutely breathtaking. Day 1 Departure → Southern Anhui "Sichuan-Tibet Highway" → Xuanzhi (Rice Paper) Museum Southern Anhui Sichuan-Tibet Highway I recommend driving from Ningguo to Jingxian. This winding mountain road is absolutely stunning, with views of terraced fields, traditional villages, and sea-like clouds. The most scenic part? Taoling Six Bends—a winding stretch often visited by wild monkeys! Xuanzhi Museum (China Xuanzhi Culture Park) The entire building is like a giant scroll of rice paper stretched out among the mountains—absolutely artistic! Learn about 1,000+ years of traditional handmade rice paper craftsmanship Try making your own paper—a super unique experience! Pro tip for photos: Get to a higher vantage point across the valley for a full view of the architectural beauty. Day 2 Jingting Mountain → Shuidong Ancient Town → Return Jingting Mountain The setting for poet Li Bai’s famous poem “Sitting Alone on Jingting Mountain.” Halfway up: Statue of Princess Yuzhen At the summit: “Tai Bai Sitting Alone Tower” offers a stunning sunrise view—don’t miss it if the weather is clear!
