Visiting a museum is a good place to understand the historical sedimentation of a city. [Star] Prime Minister Cao's Mansion: It was restored and rebuilt on the site of Cao Cao's original camp and office. It is a modern imitation of Han Dynasty architecture. Each hall only has some text and pictures to introduce the history of the Three Kingdoms. It is not very worth visiting. The facial sculptures in front of the main hall are quite nice, the soldier cave is quite interesting, and there are also rolling stone devices, traps and the like. It is said that there is a night show, and there is nothing to see during the day except the soldier cave. [Star] Chunqiu Building: The place where Guan Yu read "Spring and Autumn Annals" at night is said to be one of the four largest Guan Gong temples on the mainland. The existing Chunqiu Tower ancient building was first built during the Yuan Dynasty and went through the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. The Guansheng Temple is 33 meters high, and the 15-meter-high Guan Gong statue is very shocking. There is also the residence of the second wife of Gan and Mi in the scenic area. The Chunqiu Tower, the Confucian Temple (a national protected site), and the Guansheng Temple are all very photogenic. There are a lot of young ladies taking photos in ancient costumes, and there are also a lot of people taking photos at the door, and the prices are very attractive. [Star] Wenfeng Tower (National Heritage) The 13-story brick tower built during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty was once an old museum in Xuchang. Now there is also a Tower Culture Museum here. The exhibitions inside are worth seeing. The towers from all over the country are introduced above the corridor. The chrysanthemums at the door are in full bloom recently! [Star] Cao Wei Ancient City A commercial pedestrian street was built in imitation of the Three Kingdoms architecture. Most of the shops are for taking photos in Hanfu and makeup. It's still beautiful when the lights are on! [RoundNails] Tips: 1. It is recommended to buy tickets for Cao Chengxiang Mansion and Chunqiu Tower online, which will be cheaper than on-site. 2. Chunqiu Tower would be more suitable for taking ancient style photos than the Prime Minister’s Mansion. 3. The Chunqiu Wharf in Xuchang is also good. Xuchang is also called the Lotus City. It is very suitable for boat tours in summer, but it is not recommended in autumn and winter. I spent two days in Xuchang and didn’t see many people taking a boat.
