I went to Mount Mengding for this medal and easily completed the 9 km hike.

📍Navigation: Mount Mengding Scenic Area⛰️ 🅿️It is recommended to park at the parking lot near the Ancient Ladder Path. The guard at the entrance will stop you and only let you in if you have a hotel reservation, but you can say you are going to Tiangai Temple for a meal. There are actually several small restaurants inside, so you can go straight to the parking lot after the hike and drive to the medal collection point to get your medal. 🎫Admission: CNY 45 per person Parking fee: CNY 10 Cable car: CNY 20 per person for a one-way trip in the off-season, CNY 30 per person for a one-way trip in the peak season (free for children under 1.2 m) Package: Admission + round-trip cable car ticket: CNY 65 per person ✅After entering the scenic area, you can scan the QR code at the "World's No. 1 Teapot" to start your hike. Choose the "Strong Tea Route" or the "Light Tea Route". You will receive the same medal for completing either route, as proof of your hike! ✅We chose the "Strong Tea Route", starting from the "World's No. 1 Teapot", passing Ganlu Temple, Tiangai Temple, the Royal Tea Garden, the Forest Trail, the Camellia Garden, Lingyun Terrace, the Bridge of Tranquility, and the Ancient Ladder Path, and finally arriving at the Tea Altar. The whole journey took about 4 hours. We didn't take the cable car🚡. The difficulty level was moderate, which is very suitable for beginners. 🍲Food: You can bring your own food or eat at Tiangai Temple, where there are stir-fried dishes and tofu rice. There is also a small shop next door selling instant noodles and other items. There are many tea shops on the mountain. I personally recommend bringing your own food, just in case. 🏅After completing the hike, don't forget to redeem your medal at the tourist shopping point.
