An island with more cows than people. Kuroshima. Kuroshima is a place of idyllic scenery. Population 235. Number of cows 2739. Cows make up the overwhelming majority of the population. Indeed, cows, cows, cows, and the occasional cat. I didn't encounter many people. To Nakamoto Beach on Kuroshima! Cycling to see the fantastic scenery. When I moved from Ishigaki Island to Kuroshima, it was already evening. I asked the people at the inn for recommendations for nearby places to go at that time, and they replied Nakamoto Beach! So I went. When I got to Nakamoto Beach, there was no one there. I was alone on such a wide beach. When I pointed my camera at it, the tide was low and the rugged rocks covered in seaweed created a strangely stylish scene. On the way back, I chose a different route and somehow got lost. All the roads were narrow and looked the same. When I was in trouble, someone from the inn came to pick me up halfway, and I was relieved. However, changing the route also led to a new discovery. Relaxing at Iconoma Cafe on Kuroshima. Take a ferry from Ishigaki Island to Kuroshima. Cafe tour on the hotel's rental bicycle. Here, we had Arthur toast and curry with coconut. The cafe is set up in the garden of the owner's home, and is on a slight hill, so you can see the cows grazing nearby. Birds chirp, cats come to play, and they even have a water buffalo at the cafe - it's irresistible for animal lovers!!
