Yakushima: A Spiritual Power Spot!

When you think of Yakushima, the ancient Yakusugi cedar trees immediately come to mind! I started my trek early in the morning before dawn and spent the entire day hiking. The trails are long, but the mystical forests unique to Yakushima and the sight of thousand-year-old Yakusugi trees make all the fatigue disappear. For lunch, I reserved a trekking bento from a local shop the day before. Eating amidst nature was an unforgettable experience. While it’s physically demanding, the sense of adventure and accomplishment is immense, creating memories that last a lifetime. If you love nature, this is an experience you absolutely must try!
