Bunshokan Bunshokan is a three-story English Renaissance red brick building located in Yamagata City. It was built in 1916 and was previously used as a government office and city hall. It has now been renovated into a museum and is free to visit! The atmosphere is like being transported into the Khun Chai Chutathep drama. The interior is grand and luxurious. The entrance hall has marble columns, furniture, chandeliers, carvings, carpets, and curtains. It was also a filming location for the 2020 drama Dang Duang Hathai. Don't miss it if you're a fan of this drama! The highlight here is the "Central Clock Tower", the second oldest mechanical clock in Japan. It's a mechanical clock that uses a weight to work and has been telling the time for over 100 years.
