🇯🇵 A local creative cuisine restaurant not to be missed in Yamanakako - Daitoyo

After visiting Hana no Miyako Park at Lake Yamanaka, I was heading to Ogino Supermarket when I stumbled upon a less conspicuous restaurant opposite - Daitoyo. I hadn't decided to eat there yet, and when I saw the Koshu specialty "Hoto" there, I decided to give it a try. 📍 Yamanashi Prefecture Minamitsuru-gun Yamanakako Village Yamanaka 865-919 The Chinese characters for "ほうとう" are "馎饦", a famous local cuisine of Yamanashi Prefecture. Legend has it that it was introduced to Japan during the Tang Dynasty and gradually evolved into the hoto of today's Japan. 🍽 Salted Hoto (塩ほうとう) — The soup base made with sea bream is very fresh and sweet, and the taste is similar to that of shaved noodles, but the flatter Hoto and a lot of seasonal vegetables make it a perfect match ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🍽 Yamagata Steak Set Meal (山形牛ステーキ定食) — Although the steak is relatively thin, it has a strong beef flavor.
