Departing from Shanghai to Yancheng, there's still more to explore!

Yancheng, a two and a half hour high-speed train ride from Shanghai, or three and a half hours by car, is an off-the-beaten-path destination that doesn't lack beautiful scenery. Attraction recommendations: 🟡Yellow Sea Wild Deer Park Although the Chinese Milu Deer Park is Yancheng's most promoted spot for deer watching, I really wanted to have an encounter with wild deer. As it turned out, I wasn't that fortunate, but on the way to the Wild Deer Park, I discovered a treasure spot that combines wetlands, grasslands, and windmills. For a moment, it felt like being in Xinjiang, with the same wetlands and the same sunset. That evening, I didn't meet any deer, but I saw the shape of the wind. 🟠Chinese Dark Night Sky Reserve · Wild Deer Park Remember this place, but don't go; it's actually a private starry sky reserve. If you want to see deer, you have to walk inside for at least half an hour, and the deer are very, very far away, barely visible to the naked eye. Paying 20 yuan for a ticket just to see a green path is not worth adding to your list of grievances. 🟣Dutch Flower Sea I absolutely love this botanical garden. Of course, there are no tulips now, but the area near the Love Theater is great for taking photos, and there are many stories about love. I strolled around for a long time. I'm really looking forward to the Dutch Flower Sea next March or April; the tulip 🌷 sea is truly spectacular. Yancheng is a very special city, and this trip has changed my perception of it. It has the natural scenery of a 'little Northwest' and the cultural landscape about love. It's really special.
