A hidden gem in the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai area that looks just like Africa!

We always think we have to fly to Africa to see large groups of wild animals, but it turns out there's a great place right here in the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai area! I drove from Shanghai, which took about 3.5 hours, to Dafeng District in Yancheng, Jiangsu. There are two great places to visit here: Huanghai Yelu Dang and the Dafeng Milu National Nature Reserve (a 5A scenic area). First, let's talk about Huanghai Yelu Dang. To see the wild deer, you have to walk along Qiming Road, where you can see some wild deer wandering along the roadside. If you want a closer look, turn right at the fork in the road and pay CNY 20 to enter an area where you can get closer to the wild deer. If you have a drone, you can take some cool aerial shots; if you have a camera with a telephoto lens, you can also take some clear shots of the deer. Next, let's talk about the Dafeng Milu National Nature Reserve. The milu deer here are semi-captive, and you can only enter by taking a sightseeing bus. However, you can feed the milu deer up close on the sightseeing bus, which is a lot of fun. Be careful when feeding the milu deer, follow the staff's instructions, and don't hurt yourself or scare the deer. By the way, be careful when driving in areas where wild deer are present, and drive slowly, as you never know when a deer might run out. And don't disturb the wildlife, wherever you are, and let them live freely. This trip to Yancheng was really worth it! It's perfect for a weekend or a short holiday.
