Just returned from Guilin, and the 3-day, 2-night mountain-and-water journey costing just 800+ RMB per person was totally worth it! Following local recommendations, we managed to explore all the essence of Guilin🌿 🚣♀️3-day, 2-night itinerary: Day1: 📍Elephant Trunk Hill Park (Ticket: 55 RMB) A must-visit landmark of Guilin! Arrive before 8 AM for fewer crowds and better photos. You can also see the confluence of the Li River and Peach Blossom River here~ 📍Two Rivers and Four Lakes (Night cruise ticket: 210 RMB/person) Opt for the 7:30 PM cruise when the lights are stunning! Bring a jacket as the river breeze can be chilly Day2: 📍Yangshuo West Street (Free) 1.5-hour drive from downtown Guilin. Rent an e-bike for 30 RMB/day to explore hidden alleys full of unique shops! 📍Yulong River Bamboo Raft (Jinlong Bridge to Jiuxian section, 255 RMB/raft) Highly recommended! The 1.5-hour ride offers breathtaking views~ Best photo time is before noon Day3: 📍Longji Rice Terraces (Ticket: 80 RMB) 2.5-hour drive from downtown. Stay in Ping'an Village for dreamy morning mist over the terraces🌄 Best viewing period is May-October 🍜Must-try foods: ✅Guilin Rice Noodles (Lao Dongjiang Noodles flagship store, ~6 RMB) ✅Beer Fish (Sister Xie's Beer Fish at Yangshuo West Street entrance, ~80 RMB) ✅Oil Tea (Locals' favorite breakfast, perfect with puffed rice) 🏡Accommodation tips: ✅Stay near Two Rivers and Four Lakes for easy night cruising ✅Choose guesthouses near Yangshuo West Street ✅Stay overnight in a Longji terraces homestay ⚠️Tips: 1.
