Climbing Yantai Mountain Again

The spring weather is beautiful. I walked slowly along the coast and arrived at Yantai Mountain. Yantai Mountain is not high, but it is close to the sea. A long, long time ago, a beacon tower was built on this small mountain to warn of enemy attacks. When the smoke from the beacon rose, it was thick and straight, so the mountain was called Yantai Mountain, and the city of Yantai got its name from this. Climbing the mountain on foot, you can see many consulates. These well-maintained buildings silently record a history of humiliation. Early spring in Yantai is still a bit chilly, but Yantai has no shortage of good weather. The sky is azure with a few wisps of clouds. Climbing the beacon tower and looking out, the sea and the sky are the same color. Many huge ships are docked in the distant port, and seagulls circle and sing, adding a lot of movement to the otherwise calm scene. The nearby seawater is crystal clear, and as the sea surface rises and falls, waves crash against the reefs one after another, creating white splashes. Relang Pavilion is still quietly parked on the edge of the cliff. Standing in the pavilion, you can see the sparkling seawater under the sunlight. The wind is strong, blowing my hair, and I feel like I'm leaning on the railing and listening to the wind. Yantai, the beautiful coastal town where I was born and raised, I love it so much.
