| Adachi Museum of Art. The Pinnacle of Japanese Gardens | Adachi Museum of Art Founded in 1970 by the industrialist Adachi Zenko, the Adachi Museum of Art covers an area of 165,000 square meters. In addition to a vast collection of precious artworks, it boasts a superb 50,000 square meter Japanese garden🌳. Designed by the renowned Kinsaku Nakane, the garden incorporates the distant mountains, creating a perfect fusion of man and nature. 🏞️Six themed gardens, each one breathtakingly beautiful: 1️⃣ The Dry Landscape Garden: Without a single drop of water, only sand, stones, and rocks are used to create a landscape full of Zen. 2️⃣ The White Sand and Green Pine Garden: Based on Yokoyama Taikan's painting "White Sand and Green Pine," the combination of white sand and pine trees makes you feel like you've stepped into the painting. 3️⃣ The Moss Garden: Covered in soft, green moss, it feels like stepping into a fairytale world. 4️⃣ The Pond Garden: Ponds, small bridges, green trees, and swimming koi carp create a picturesque scene. 5️⃣ The Turtle and Crane Waterfall: Although small, the waterfall, combined with the surrounding greenery, creates a captivating atmosphere. 6️⃣ The Living Framed Picture: With the windows as frames and the changing seasons as the painting, every step reveals a new poetic scene. 🎨The museum also houses a collection of modern Japanese paintings, represented by the master Yokoyama Taikan, as well as ceramics and other works of art.
