Taiwan's largest ceramics town, Yingge

I've been to Taipei too much, so I thought it was about time to go somewhere different, and I was gathering information online... I discovered a pottery producing area that's relatively close to Taipei and can be visited on a day trip. Many ceramics stores were lined up on both sides of the cobblestone street. Galleries for exhibiting works, studios that show you the work being done, and pottery classes. There are various shops, so just walking around is fun. There are also several tea specialty stores, so if you get tired, you can compare teas and look for souvenirs there as well.
