Tokyo Kyushu Ferry Hamayu

I boarded the Mayu, a new Tokyo Kyushu Ferry that launched on July 1, 2021. It was just completed, so it goes without saying that the facilities on board are luxurious. When I was on the previous ship, the Soreiyu, I was unable to enjoy the scenery or the onboard BBQ due to bad weather. This time, I was blessed with the most beautiful weather, and was able to enjoy the magnificent view of the land on the Pacific side and the elegant BBQ and open-air bath on board. I was surprised at how much the weather could change a cruise! The onboard BBQ is especially recommended as it is a service that is not available on other ferries.
