Verny Park is located along the coastline of Yokosuka, Kanagawa. On the opposite bank is the former Yokosuka Ironworks site, and the park was developed with a French garden in mind, named after the French engineer Verny, who contributed to the construction of the steelworks. There are 1,300 roses on the grounds!
