Higashi-Azumayama in Yonezawa City, Yamagata Prefecture, Namegawa Onsen Fukushimaya has opened an uninhabited lodge, ECHŌ, at the foot of the mountain. Nature is a series of rough and sharp things that are out of reach of humans. ECHŌ stands in such a forest of the mountain pass, blending in with it. There are many ways to spend your time at the lodge. For example, you can go out to the balcony, sip your coffee slowly while surrounded by the clear air. Cook and eat rich seasonal ingredients. Take a walk along the path of trees, and warm up your body from the core in the sauna. Or you can do nothing and just come to make some time for yourself.
