Jinchuan Gorge Swan Lake in the morning light

The meltwater from the majestic Qilian Mountains rushes down with the Shiyang River and is abruptly halted by the Jinchuan Gorge Reservoir Dam, calming down to form a wide, undulating lake surface, like a piece of crystal-clear jade embedded in the canyon. Every winter, flocks of white swans fly over a thousand kilometers from foreign lands to winter here, returning to their homeland around March of the following year. In the morning glow, the swans soar and frolic on the water, gliding and swimming gracefully, enjoying themselves, bringing endless joy and charm to the reservoir area, like a beautiful morning melody.
