It was named after the movie "Furong Town" was filmed here. It was renamed Furong Town in 2007. Furong Town is built on both sides of a cliff waterfall, and tourists can stroll from one side of the cliff to the other. If you are visiting Fenghuang Ancient Town, it is recommended that you take a side trip and choose to walk from one side of the cliff to the other side, which takes about an hour to go back and forth.
