Listening Water Café

As the name suggests, Listening Water Café offers a unique experience where you can sit by the riverside, enjoy a cup of delicious coffee, and listen to the soothing sound of flowing water. On this particular day, we left Bei Hou Temple and headed to Listening Water Café just in time for the evening. The café was relatively quiet with fewer guests, and unlike typical coffee shops, this place exudes tranquility. The riverside seating area still had available spots, including the best scenic seats. The weather was perfect in the evening, with a gentle breeze rustling the leaves and scattering them around. Sitting by the riverside, accompanied by the sounds of flowing water, occasional bird chirps, and frog croaks, immerses you in the symphony of nature, creating a calming and relaxing atmosphere. Although the café doesn’t offer a wide variety of coffee and snacks, the options available are quite good. Its proximity to Bei Hou Temple (within walking distance) and the serene surroundings make it an ideal spot for a peaceful retreat. Here, you can fully enjoy an immersive rest, soaking in the Zen-like ambiance and tranquility, and feel a moment of relaxation and comfort. It’s highly recommended for travelers seeking a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle. Listening Water Café is truly a gem for those looking for a serene spot to unwind.
