Gave up on Zhangjiajie, this place is truly amazing

There must be a lot of people out there whose travel plans have changed suddenly, right? 🙋‍♀️ I'm one of them! I was originally set on going to Zhangjiajie, but while I was doing my research, I was completely captivated by photos of Yandang Mountain and decisively changed my itinerary. After the trip, I just want to say, giving up Zhangjiajie for Yandang Mountain was such a smart move! 🌄The scenery at Yandang Mountain is truly breathtaking. With its unique peaks and rocks, and cascading waterfalls and springs, every spot looks like a meticulously crafted work of art by nature. It's not overly commercialized, preserving the purest natural scenery, perfect for a visual feast! 📍Address: No. 88 Yanshan Road, Yandang Town, Yueqing City, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province 🚗Transportation Guide: • High-speed rail is super convenient, just take it directly to Yandangshan Station. There are buses right outside the station that go directly to various entrances of the scenic area, costing only a few yuan, making it super cost-effective 🚌 • If you're driving, the scenery along the way is also incredibly beautiful. Navigate to the scenic area parking lot; the parking fees are reasonable, so no need to worry about parking difficulties. 🏞️Travel Route Plan Day 1: Lingfeng Scenic Area → Dalongqiu Scenic Area In the morning, as I entered Lingfeng Scenic Area with the rising sun, I was immediately awestruck by the unique peaks and rocks! Husband and Wife Peak looks like a pair of lovers gazing at each other affectionately 👫, and Clasping Palms Peak resembles two hands clasped together in prayer. Every spot makes you marvel at the wonders of nature. I couldn't stop taking photos as I walked along 📸 At noon, I found a farmhouse restaurant near the scenic area to try some local specialties. The tofu and stream fish soup was delicious, the fish was tender, and the tofu absorbed the delicious flavor of the fish soup, making every bite incredibly satisfying 🥘 The soft and chewy stir-fried rice noodles are also worth a try. In the afternoon, I headed to Dalongqiu Scenic Area, where I could hear the roar of the waterfall from afar. Up close, the 197-meter-high Dalongqiu Waterfall is magnificent, cascading down from the mountaintop, splashing water everywhere. In the sunlight, you can even see a faint rainbow 🌈 Standing at the foot of the waterfall, I felt completely healed by this spectacular sight. Day 2: Fangdong Scenic Area → Lingyan Scenic Area In the morning, I arrived at Fangdong Scenic Area, where there's a cliffside plank road. Walking on it, with steep cliffs on one side and a bottomless valley on the other, is both thrilling and fun 😎 The scenery along the way is stunning, with rolling mountains in the distance and clouds and mist swirling among them, making you feel like you're in a fairyland. After a quick lunch to replenish my energy, I went to Lingyan Scenic Area. The flying渡 performance here is a must-see! The performers showcase various thrilling stunts between the cliffs, making your heart race 🧗‍♂️ Afterwards, I took a leisurely stroll through the scenic area, admiring the beautiful scenery of Lingyan and experiencing the tranquility and beauty of nature. 📌Handy Tips: • Check the weather forecast in advance and choose a sunny day for your trip, so you can see more beautiful scenery and take better photos. • The scenic area is large, so be sure to wear comfortable sneakers 👟 Otherwise, your feet will suffer after a day of walking. • Don't forget sun protection! Bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen, otherwise you'll easily get sunburned. • You can bring your own snacks and water, as prices inside the scenic area are a bit higher. Everyone, Yandang Mountain is truly a hidden gem! It has the steep peaks and ruggedness of Zhangjiajie, as well as its own unique tranquility and beauty.
