[Oita] A secret hot spring inn for adults

Yufuin, Oita Prefecture in May 𓂃 ✍︎______________________________________📍Ryu no Hige (Bettei Yumuta), a grass-roofed inn I went to a hidden inn in the mountains overlooking Mt. Yufu, which I had always wanted to visit. The air was so clear that I wanted to take a deep breath, the scent of the trees, and the silence. It had been a long time since I had felt "enveloped in the forest" 🌲 - I stayed in the "Kaede" room. It was a luxurious space of 61m2 + 25m2 terrace. Outside the window, you could see the greenery of the four seasons and the majestic figure of Mt. Yufu. There was a semi-open-air bath inside the room, so morning and night, it was time to just soak in the bathtub and face nature. The sounds, smells, and wind were all soothing. - Dinner was served in a private dining room. The creative kaiseki meal, which was carefully prepared using seasonal ingredients including Oita Wagyu beef, was so delicious that I couldn't help but close my eyes. It was the first time in a long time that I thought, "I want to eat it again right away." － Many of the staff were foreigners, but everyone was very polite and worked hard. I was also soothed by the heartwarming service🫶 This is a place you want to choose not just to stay, but to "calm your mind".
