Its main peak, Shan-Tzu-tou (扇子陡), rises to 5,596 meters above sea level and is surrounded by clouds and mist year-round. This pristine peak remains unconquered and is considered a sacred mountain by the Naxi people. Yulong Snow Mountain is one of Lijiang's most famous scenic spots.
