Play in the snow at Gala Yuzawa Snow Resort

I have to admit that it was a day trip to a snow resort that was worth the energy and money in my pocket! It was soooooo good! ✨❄️ Getting there: Start your trip with the Shinkansen from Tokyo. It’s so convenient! Take the train to enjoy the view for a short while and you’ll arrive at Gala Yuzawa Station. When you get out of the station, you’ll be at the ski resort right away. Imagine that! No need to transfer to any transportation. I love this! ❤️🚄 Must-do activities: * Skiing/snowboarding: This is the highlight! The ski resort is very large. There are many levels to choose from, from baby skiers to pros who want to slide down steep slopes. It’s all fun! If you’ve never done it before, don’t worry. They have classes. But I’m a speedy rider, so I rented a board and went for it! 🏂⛷️ * Take the cable car to enjoy the view: If you’re bored with skiing, take the cable car to see a panoramic view of the snowy mountains. It’s so beautiful that it hurts your heart! No matter which angle you take, it’s great! 📸🏔️ * Hot spring bath: After a tiring day of skiing, you must end your day by soaking in a hot spring in the snow. It's a level ten of fun! It relaxes your muscles and improves your skin too! 😉♨️ Recommended restaurants: * Resort restaurants: There are a lot to choose from, from hot ramen, warm soup, to Western food! The prices are reasonable and not too expensive. The taste is okay. Eat until you're full and recharge to continue your adventure! 🍜🍛 * Cafe: There are cute cafes where you can stop by for coffee, cake, and cool photos! Things to do: * Rent ski/snowboard sets: If you didn't bring your own, the resort has a full set for rent. The quality is excellent, so don't worry! * Bring sunglasses: The sunlight on the snow is very strong. You'll get your eyes hurt without even realizing it! 😎 * Sunscreen: Very important! Apply it and spread it so your skin doesn't get burned. * Gloves, hats, and scarves: The weather is freezing cold, so you need something to help! 🧤🧣 Tips for skiing: * Warm up your body first: Very important! To avoid injuries * Start with easy slopes first: Don't be too naughty! * Listen to the staff's advice: They are experienced, so you will be safe * Have fun to the max! When you go, make the most of it! Feelings after the trip: It's really good! You can go in the morning and return in the evening, so you can enjoy the trip to your heart's content. You won't be tired from traveling too much. Plus, you can save on accommodation costs.
