Approach the Lanzhou Wo Bridge

The Lanzhou Wo Bridge, also known as the lying bridge, was originally located in the west of Lanzhou city. It is recorded that it was first built during the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty, and was rebuilt twice during the Qing Dynasty. It is now located in the Waterwheel Garden after reconstruction. Bridge expert Mao Yisheng once said that the Lanzhou Wo Bridge is a representative of China's 'extended arm wooden beam bridge'. Because the timber for the bridge was picked out from both banks to the heart of the river, and finally connected with the bridge deck, it looked like two fists clasping each other, hence the name 'Wo Bridge'. Approaching the Wo Bridge, it looks like a rainbow lying down, lying across both banks. The carved beams and painted buildings, the flying eaves and the corners.
