Shikoku Pilgrimage + Seto Inland Sea Cycling Tour

DAY 29: Yesterday, I visited the 12th to 15th of the Bekko Shrines. I rode eastward from Ehime Prefecture to Miyoshi City in Tokushima Prefecture. Today, I returned northward from Tokushima Prefecture to Kagawa Prefecture, continuing the journey of "Kagawa Nirvana Dojo" with Kobo Daishi and his companions. The first stop was to challenge the most difficult shrine among the Shikoku Shrines - Unbeji Temple (900 meters above sea level). When the weather is clear, you can see the scenery of Tokushima, Kochi and Takamatsu from afar, and you can also see the Kenzan and Ishizuchi mountain ranges. Today's worship itinerary was successfully completed with the solemn back of Kobo Daishi and the scenery of the village of Zentsuji City. When ringing the bell of happiness at Deshakaji Okunoin, I also truly realized what "happiness" is. In fact, it is not "having" but "not having". In the past, I always interpreted happiness as what I "have": having a car, a house, money, and power.
