This low-carbon and environmentally friendly town at the foot of the Matterhorn, although a crowded tourist town, has retained its most natural and unpretentious side and is very beautiful. This trip we stayed at Hotel Alpen Resort & Spa, a hotel near the Zermatt camping area, which is about a 5-minute walk from the station. We could make a free call at the station to ask the hotel to send a car, saving the trouble of dragging our luggage. The family room is designed as a building within a building. Although the sloping roof compresses a lot of space, the balcony faces the Matterhorn directly, and the view is amazing! The double room is square and feels larger, about 30 square meters. The room design is quite warm and cozy, and it is very comfortable to live in. The price for a double room including breakfast is about NT$13,000.
