Putuo Mountain, a Buddhist holy place standing on the shore of the East China Sea, has carried the faith and prayers of countless people throughout the ages. The sound of Buddhist scriptures lingers in the air, the incense smoke drifts in the air, and every blade of grass and every tree contains compassion and wisdom. - Puji Temple: The largest temple in Putuo Mountain, with great popularity and worship. In the Yuantong Hall of the temple, one prays for family safety; in the Samantabhadra Hall, one prays for a good career; in the Ksitigarbha Hall, one prays for the deceased and health of the living; in the Main Hall, Sakyamuni Buddha is in the middle to ensure peace in the present; in the east, one prays for the Medicine Buddha to eliminate diseases and disasters; in the west, Amitabha Buddha is in the west to ensure success in the future; in the Pumen Hall, one prays for love; in the Manjusri Hall, one prays for academic wisdom for the children; in the Galan Hall, one prays for wealth from all directions. - Fayu Temple: It ranks second in status on the mountain and is a royal temple. In the Yuantong Hall of the temple, one can pray for family harmony and good health. You can pray in the Hall of Heavenly Kings, the Hall of Jade Buddha, the Hall of Nine Dragons Guanyin, the Hall of Universal Gate, the Hall of the Great Buddha, the Hall of the Three Saints, the Hall of Guan Gong and other halls to pray for family safety, a happy marriage, etc. - Huiji Temple: Located on the top of Foding Mountain, it is the third largest temple in Putuo Mountain. The statue of Sakyamuni Buddha enshrined in the main hall, Mahavira Hall, can pray for academic success. The white jade goddess of fertility on the back of the Guanyin Hall is effective in praying for children. - Nanhai Guanyin Buddha: A landmark building of Mount Putuo, the 33-meter-tall Guanyin statue is solemn and compassionate. You can pray clockwise around the Buddha statue to pray for peace, health, marriage, etc. - Shancai Cave: This is a popular temple in Putuo Mountain. As the saying goes, "wealth comes from kindness", you can pray for wealth here. - Zizhulin: The earliest temple of Guanyin Bodhisattva in Putuo Mountain. You can pray for good luck and peace here. If you want to have a successful prayer trip in Putuo Mountain, you need to arrange at least two days. Be sure to get there early and enter this holy place at first light, because the earlier you pray, the more pious you will be and the greater the chance of your prayer being answered. Especially when burning incense, we follow the tradition and do not burn incense after noon. Let the curling incense in the early morning, carrying the purest wishes, float to the Buddha's kingdom and be passed on to the Bodhisattva.
