Zhuhai Honghuashan Forest Park: Breathe in the fresh and free air

📍Address: Honghuashan Road, Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai City I've always heard people talk about a beautiful and relatively new forest park in Zhuhai called Honghuashan. Finally, on a day when the sun wasn't too harsh and the weather was just right, I took a bus there, deciding to give myself a leisurely afternoon to breathe and relax. As soon as I entered the park, I was greeted by a vast expanse of neatly trimmed grass and towering trees of varying heights. The refreshing green scenery, combined with the blue sky and white clouds, created a clean and healing view. I lay down by the edge of the grass, enjoying the breeze and sunlight, watching the clouds drift slowly across the sky. I felt completely relaxed, my mood lifted immensely—it truly felt like I could spend the entire day napping there. Walking along the shaded paths, I felt cool and comfortable. However, by 5 PM, the sun was still quite strong, so remember to apply enough sunscreen and use mosquito repellent—unlike me, who got bitten twice on the legs. I climbed up to the observation deck, where the view seemed to stretch endlessly, even offering a distant glimpse of the sea. It was no exaggeration to say that the moment felt utterly tranquil. Nearby, there was a stylish little tea room where sunlight streamed through the windows, enveloping everything in a golden glow. The photos taken there were stunning, requiring no filters. The highlight of the afternoon was around 6 PM, when the sunset turned gentle, and the sunlight made my hair shimmer—it even made me feel a bit prettier. One thing to note: due to recent heavy rains, a spot in the park called "Little Jiuzhai" was temporarily closed. If you're coming solely to check out that area, you might be disappointed. But for me, the beautiful grasslands, forests, sunlight, and sea views were more than enough to savor. Sometimes, you don't need to travel far. This little forest in Zhuhai offers the perfect slice of summer I had imagined.
