🏠 Hidden in the Countryside · Huapopo Homestay ✅️ Ziyang County, Shaanxi Province | Guojialiang Scenic Area, Qingzhong Village, Chengguan Town, Ziyang ✅️ I heard that this homestay is a poverty alleviation project. It takes about 30 minutes to drive from Ziyang County. If it weren't for this project, this village would be hard to find. It's located in a remote mountain valley with little arable land and few people. I don't know how the villagers made a living before. After this project, the road to the mountain was repaired, and the white walls and black tiles of the rebuilt village look very clean. ✅️ Huapopo Homestay is located at the top of the village. There are six small courtyards, each with an auntie to take care of the guests. We stayed in Courtyard No. 3, the highest courtyard. The auntie in Courtyard No. 3 is a great cook and very enthusiastic. She helped us with our luggage and tidied up our room. The aunties here are all villagers. The poverty alleviation project gave them the opportunity to work and support their families, which is really great. ✅️ The day we checked in was sunny. At night, the sky was full of stars. Standing in the courtyard, we looked at the starry sky. The wind blew and the wind chimes rang. The wind chimes were ethereal and pure. There were also insects and birds chirping in the distance. It felt like we were outside the world. ✅️ The next day, it rained lightly, and the mountain was foggy. Sitting in the courtyard, drinking tea, and listening to the rain was also a unique experience.
