Dashiyu Scenic Area is located in Matiyu Village, Houjiazhai Township, Zunhua City. The Great Wall was first built in the sixth year of Tianbao in the Northern Qi Dynasty and was rebuilt during the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty. At the foot of the Great Wall, there is a city of Matiyu Pass, with the remains of the city wall still existing. When you climb the "First Building of Zunhua" and look around, you will see three mountains and two rivers, and you can see the scenery of the north. Since 2016, winter tourism projects have been developed to allow tourists to appreciate the dreamlike ice waterfall landscape. After the winter, the staff will freeze the flowing water layer by layer, freeze it into natural art ice sculptures, and the ice waterfall and Wufeng Mountain shine each other, forming a strong visual impact of the exquisite and majestic nature. The Dashiyu in Zunhua City has been dressed up as a human wonder of ice sculptures and jade buildings. The icicles, ice bamboo shoots, ice ridges, ice flowers, ice curtains, ice mantles... at the foot of the mountain are varied and beautiful, and they are accompanied by the ancient Great Wall on the top of the mountain, presenting a beautiful scenery of "the scenery is not the same as the four seasons". This year, the water quality here is very pure, and the ups and downs of the giant kilometer ice waterfall formed by the freezing weather are spectacular and magical. It is as intoxicating as jade, and has won the favor of many tourists. The Dashiyu Canyon is two kilometers long, with steep and dangerous mountains on both sides, and strange rocks.
