Courtyard by Marriott Zurich North: A Convenient Choice

📍 Max-Bill-Platz 19, Zurich, Switzerland 🛤 I recently stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Zurich North. Located between Zurich city center and the airport, it's incredibly convenient. A 5-minute walk takes you to Oerlikon train station, providing easy access to Zurich's top attractions. The surrounding area is pleasant for strolls and felt safe, even when I arrived at night.😊 🏨 The hotel boasts a modern, minimalist design, with recently renovated reception and cafe areas. The exterior is reassuring, while the interior is clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly, helpful, and provided lots of useful information upon check-in. There's also a 24-hour shop in the lobby for snacks and drinks.🍫 🛏️ My room was spacious, with comfortable bedding and all the necessary amenities. Although there was no air conditioning, the room temperature was acceptable, and the quiet neighborhood ensured a good night's sleep. The high-speed Internet was a plus for getting work done. For enhanced comfort, consider upgrading to a higher-tier room.📶✨ 💪 The hotel gym, while compact, is adequate for basic workouts, especially for early risers. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and set me up for the day.🍳🥐 🚶 The hotel's location offers excellent transport links, with easy access to train and bus stations. A short walk away is a COOP supermarket for groceries and essentials. For those who enjoy walking, the Hallenstadion music and sports arena and the Messe Zurich exhibition center are nearby. You can even climb a nearby high-rise building for panoramic views of Zurich, including the Alps on a clear day.🌄🏙 🍽️ If you prefer dining out, there are plenty of restaurants and cafes within walking distance. La Fonte, Elmira Fine Dining, and the Swiss-style Schweizerhof Bar are all excellent choices. For tapas lovers, I recommend Iberia Tapas.🍽️ Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the Courtyard by Marriott Zurich North, both for its location and service. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Zurich.🌟🚉
