Dinan may be not very well known place in the tourist circuit. But during my time spent in Britanny. This medieval town quickly became by favourite stop in Brittany. What a fantastic local on the hillside and overlooking a river. Best part, it has some of the finest architecture that is there in Brittany. I was so overjoyed by the atmosphere and sight of the historic centre. Those cobbled streets, half timbered houses, impressive monuments, art galleries, craft shops and so much more. Walking by the rampart offers such fine views and chateau Dinan is gorgeous. During our time here I remember visiting several other impressive landmarks like the basilica of st. saveur and st. Malo church. There is a beautiful rue de petit street lined up with artistic shops. Dinan Cote Darmor Bretagne A very charming white town centered around a white church, surrounded by greenery and rocks, with a beach for rest. Region: Charente-Maritime Route: Train from Montparnasse to La Rochelle, then you can take another train or bus from La Rochelle to Ars-en-Re. Route: From Paris Montparnasse train station to Rennes. Then take another train to Dol de Bretagne and finally a train to Dinan. PS Although it requires changing trains three times, all changes are at the same station, which is quite convenient. The scenery along the way is also good, with a total duration of about three hours.
