The area consists of the Royal Monument of King Naresuan the Great riding an elephant into battle and the Yuthahatthi Pagoda. King Naresuan the Great built the pagoda to celebrate his victory in the Yuthahatthi War against the Maha Uparaja of Burma. Later, the pagoda was renovated and built as a large round Sri Lankan pagoda, 66 meters high, 36 meters wide on each side, covering the original pagoda. Currently, there is an exhibition that is free to visit.
Travel🚘: From Suphan Buri city, take the Bang Bua Thong-Suphan Buri parallel road to Don Chedi Subdistrict. Turn right onto Road 3038, turn right past the Don Chedi District Primary Education Office. Don Chedi Memorial is a roundabout, right in front. Go around the roundabout and park opposite the Don Chedi District Land Office.
Open for visits every Monday-Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
