Getting There - busses and flights available from all major cities in Argentina including Ushuaia. Attractions - plenty of amazing hikes from town including Fitz Roy. lots of view points en route to the final viewing platform. around 9k but the final 1k is brutal uphill. wear proper hiking shoes in the winter / autumn as it’s very snowy. Hotels - plenty of high end hotels and hostels in town. all with maps and weather indicators for the next day. Food & Restaurants - some fantastic choices of Argentinian cuisine and also pub food to choose from. Shopping - all the basic shops and necessities needed. also lots of hiking shops for the things you forget. #summervacation#hikingtrails

In Patagonia, you can hike to see the Fitz Roy peak on both sides: Argentina and Chile. For this trip, I hiked in Argentina. The view along the way, just driving, I was amazed by the beauty of the view on both sides. I parked the car on the road to take pictures with the view of the Patagonia peaks. The view is worth millions. Before entering El Chalten village, I stopped to take a picture at the village sign, which was also very beautiful. This village is not very big. Tourists come to stay to prepare for hiking. There are many restaurants and souvenir shops. It was a wonderful vacation.
