"I... can I survive in this town?" The other name for Yura Station in Tottori is Conan Station! As soon as you get off the station, this town filled with Conan characters is Conan Town, created in Tottori, the hometown of Detective Conan author Gosho Aoyama! Once you get out of the station, don't forget to get a stamp at the tourist information center facing the Conan statue~ If you follow the Conan statues placed all over the street from the station, you will come across Shinichi (Nam Do-il)'s house, which is called Beika Shopping Street. If you press the doorbell of Shinichi's house, the voices of the main characters will answer one by one. There is a souvenir shop and an actual restaurant modeled after the Poirot restaurant on the first floor of the Mori Detective Agency, so you can have a meal. The fun part is that if you enter the Poirot restaurant entrance, you will be connected to the inside of Shinichi's mansion that you saw at first..! If you walk a little further, you will come across the Gosho Aoyama Memorial Hall. I went to Tottori Hokuei Town Conan Town for New Year's Day. This place is really remote, but the winter months of November to March are the snow crab fishing season, and this is the least populated county in Japan, but it still attracts many tourists. I thought it would be very quiet, but the hotel was quite full. The menu has four types of crab: a whole cold snow crab, snow crab sashimi, charcoal-grilled snow crab, and snow crab shabu-shabu. The portions are huge! My wife and I almost couldn't finish it. After finishing the shabu-shabu, we had to cook rice porridge, but we were too full. I think the cold snow crab is the best! Charcoal-grilled is second. Sakaiminato City in Tottori Prefecture is the hometown of Shigeru Mizuki, the author of the anime "GeGeGe no Kitaro," and Hokuei Town is the hometown of Gosho Aoyama, the author of the anime "Detective Conan." I went to Hokuei Town to visit Conan Town. The next day, I went to Yura with a pious heart and started my pilgrimage to Conan Town. I later found out that I forgot to go to the elementary school where Ran and Conan held hands, so I have to go again. Yura is really small, and I walked around it quickly. Get off at Yura Station on the San'in Main Line. Yura Station in Hokuei Town, Tottori Prefecture, also has another name: Conan Station! Hokuei Town is the hometown of Conan's original author, Gosho Aoyama. Many people call this place Yura City, but actually, Tottori Prefecture only has four cities: Tottori, Kurayoshi, Yonago, and Sakaiminato. Yura is just a community in Hokuei Town! Yura Station is an unmanned station with no electronic signboards. On the San'in Main Line, except for stations in a few big cities, most stations are unmanned, and various transportation cards are generally not usable. There are no ticket inspectors or gates at Yura Station. After getting off, you need to put your ticket and整理劵 into the ticket box at the exit. I went to "Ramen Koga", a ramen shop loved by locals for a long time. It is a ramen shop that an old man who was walking on the way back from the Conan souvenir shop told me about.
