Wat Si Yaek Charoenphon
Wat Si Yaek Charoen Phon is a temple of the Mahanikaya sect located in Nong Krathum Subdistrict, Kamphaeng Saen District, Nakhon Pathom Province. Currently, Phra Khru Pathom Sathuwat or Phra Ajarn Thep Khanitson Thitsaro is the 8th abbot of the temple.
Wat Si Yaek Charoen Phon was established as a monastery in 1975 under the name Nong Khom Khom Monastery, which was named after the village at that time, Ban Nong Khom Khom. Luang Pho Singhon Thitthammo was the abbot. At that time, Nong Khom Khom Monastery was located on approximately 11 rai of land donated by many devotees, including Khun Mi, Khun Kawi Kongma and his family. Donated 2 rai, 2 ngan, 84 square wah of mortgaged land; Mr. Suchart Buasangchan and family donated 6 rai, 1 ngan, 74 square wah of land; and Mr. Tritrong and Ms. Thongmuan Noisri and family donated 2 rai, 3 ngan, 15 square wah. In the land area of the hermitage, there is a small wooden hut built under the leadership of Luang Pho Singhon Thitthammo, along with villagers of Nong Khomkhom Village. At that time, the hermitage was located in Village No. 5, Thung Luk Nok Subdistrict, Kamphaeng Saen District, Nakhon Pathom Province.
