Tham Krabok Temple, Saraburi Province
#Beautiful temple
This temple is popular for building large Buddha statues, even those enshrined in buildings (perhaps the temple's chapel).
The highlight of Wat Tham Krabok is the group of lava stone Buddha statues, all of which are large. So large that when you stand close to them, you'll be reduced to a tiny fraction of a human. You'll notice that all of the Buddha statues are dark gray. The temple staff said that these Buddha statues were created by melting rocks from the mountains in this area with high heat until they melt into lava, before being poured into molds to create the Buddha statues we see.

The lower floor will give you a more open and comfortable feeling because the ceiling is very high, there are large mirrors, and most importantly, there are many photo spots. It is perfect for cafe hopping.

The way up to the pavilion is a naga staircase with three lines, which represent the silver staircase, the gold staircase, and the glass staircase that descends from heaven. The naga heads at the foot of the stairs are cast in bronze and are five-headed nagas. Bells are hung around the pavilion so that those who come to pay homage can share their merit with their friends.
