#tripflyingtoprayfornewyear
🌸Khunwangsakurabridge is located next to the Inthanon Lady Slipper Orchid Conservation Project under the royal initiative in the northern region (Doi Inthanon), about 4 kilometers away.
💘There is an entrance fee of 40 baht per person, but I assure you that it is definitely worth it because there are a lot of blooming Himalayan cherry blossoms here. You can choose a photo spot. There are so many angles. If you are looking for Thai cherry blossoms, we recommend this place. You can also pitch a tent, but we really don't know the price.

#Chang Mai elephant friends Come and have a close encounter with elephants!
2024/8/12 It took us nearly 1.5 hours to drive from downtown Chiang Mai to Mae Wang, a paradise on earth. We passed through the city to restock (mini big C) & 7-11. Every dish of dinner in the park was amazing! Very suitable for family travel together! I have visited this place twice.
I really recommend it to everyone.

One of the first animals that comes to mind when you hear Thailand is elephants. In the mountains, elephants were originally raised for agriculture and forestry, and were indispensable partners in the lives of people living in northern Thailand. There are several areas where elephants live in the suburbs of Chiang Mai, and you can trek on elephants.
Several elephant camps in Chiang Mai are protected for elephants who are unable to live for various reasons. Because raising large elephants costs a lot of money, the proceeds from this elephant camp are used to raise elephants, which will also support the lives of the elephants.
🐘 Healing with nature! A special experience at Tawan Riverside! 🌿
I had a special time with nature at Tawan Riverside, a hidden gem in Chiang Mai. The experience of interacting with elephants in a quiet river was not just a simple trip, but a true healing experience.
I enjoyed a peaceful morning with a fresh local breakfast at a restaurant along the river. What a feeling to start the day with a drink in a space where the refreshing air and the sounds of nature come together!
I highly recommend this to those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and feel relaxed in nature. If you want to make unforgettable memories in Chiang Mai, be sure to visit! 💚

🐘 Chiang Mai Tawan Riverside – Special accommodation with elephants 🌿
Tawan Riverside is not just a simple accommodation, but a special experience where you can interact with nature! 🌳 In the morning, you can see elephants coming to the front of the accommodation to be fed. It was my first time seeing elephants this close, so it was amazing and touching! Also, eating breakfast while looking at the river was perfect for enjoying a leisurely mood! There were various foods prepared so that you could make and eat bread, vegetables, jam, etc. as you like.
🔹 Elephant feeding & bathing experience available!
The moment of interacting with elephants while handing them bananas and fruits is an unforgettable experience! 🐘 You can also apply for an elephant bathing experience, and it was really cute to spend time with elephants playing in the water.
🔹 Healing accommodation in nature
Since the accommodation is located next to the river, you can feel a quiet and secluded atmosphere. However, as expected from an eco-friendly accommodation, there can be a lot of bugs, so bug spray is essential! 🦟
📍 Tips
✔ The elephant experience is held in the morning, so wake up early! ✔ Since it is a natural accommodation, comfortable clothes and long pants are recommended!
✔ It is a good place for quiet healing, so it is highly recommended for couples and families!
If you want a unique accommodation experience in Chiang Mai, I highly recommend Tawan Riverside! 🌊🐘✨

If I had to pick the most unique accommodation in Chiang Mai, it would definitely be the Elephant Accommodation. The experience here was truly unforgettable.
It was unique from the moment I arrived at the accommodation. I had to cross the suspension bridge. Arriving at night and passing by here was scary, but thrilling.
The accommodation is in the form of a bungalow, so you can really feel like you are staying in nature.
Watching elephants bathing in the water while enjoying breakfast was truly healing.
Actually, I didn't apply for the elephant bathing service at first because I thought it would be a little scary, but I really regretted it. The elephants I saw up close were cute and friendly. I definitely want to apply for it next time I visit.
The most special thing was the unique wake-up call service here. It was a refreshing and happy experience to start the day by giving bananas to elephants in the morning. Feeding the elephants while interacting with them made the start of the day feel special.
As I walked around the accommodation, I could easily see elephants leisurely walking.
⭐️Transportation Tips
This accommodation is located deep in the mountains, so it wasn't easy to access. We used a Bolt Taxi, but the transportation cost was more than expected because we had to pay for a round-trip fare. But considering the precious experience I had with the elephants, it was worth it!
If you go to Chiang Mai, where you can spend a special time communing with nature, be sure to stop by!

✨A day with elephants
#newyearnewtrip
✨✈️Visiting an elephant sanctuary in Chiang Mai is one of those experiences that stays with you long after the trip. Imagine standing in a lush valley surrounded by gentle giants, their eyes full of wisdom and curiosity as they greet you.
These sanctuaries are designed to give rescued elephants a safe and peaceful life, free from the hardships they might have faced in logging or tourism industries.
1. Meet and Greet: You start by learning each elephant’s name and backstory, which instantly makes the connection more personal.
2. Feeding Time: Armed with a basket of bananas and sugarcane, you’ll get to hand-feed the elephants. Their trunks are surprisingly nimble, and the way they grab treats from your hands is both gentle and playful.
3. You can ride with them and experience the river trek
4. Reflection and Farewell: Many sanctuaries end the day with a quiet moment to reflect on the importance of ethical tourism and wildlife conservation. It’s humbling to realize how much these gentle creatures have endured and how our visit contributes to their well-being. This is why I love the experience here, none of them are mistreated.
Food: The sanctuaries also often offer vegetarian meals, prepared with local ingredients, giving you a taste of authentic Northern Thai cuisine. Beyond the activities, the experience is a powerful reminder of our connection to nature and the responsibility we have to protect it.
🎫Tickets from $28 on trip.com
1. Park-Provided Transportation: When you book a visit directly through Elephant Nature Park, complimentary round-trip transportation is included. Comfortable passenger vans pick up guests from their Chiang Mai city hotels or the park's office. The journey takes about 90 minutes, during which an informative video about the park is shown.
2. Public Transportation: While it's possible to use public transport, it requires multiple steps. You can take a bus from Chang Phueak Bus Terminal to Mae Rim, which operates every 5 minutes and takes approximately 30 minutes. From Mae Rim, you'd need to hire a taxi for the remaining 49-minute journey to the park. This method can be time-consuming and may not be as convenient as the park's transportation.
3. Private Taxi or Car Rental: Hiring a taxi or renting a car offers flexibility but can be more expensive. The drive from Chiang Mai to the park is about 56 kilometers and takes approximately 57 minutes. Taxi fares range from $18 to $23. It's advisable to arrange return transportation in advance, as the park is in a remote area with limited transport options.
Given the park's remote location and limited nearby transportation services, utilizing the park's provided transportation is often the most convenient and reliable option. This ensures timely arrival and departure, allowing you to focus on enjoying your visit.
Sakura Sakurajai at Khun Wang, Chiang Mai 🌸💖
Thai Sakura in Chiang Mai! 🌸 The Himalayan cherry blossoms at Khun Wang are blooming now!
If anyone has plans to visit Chiang Mai during this time, I recommend coming up here. The flowers are blooming 100%. Mo has never seen Himalayan cherry blossoms before. This was the first time and I wasn't into them at first. But when I got there, I really liked them. Everything was pink and soft. No matter how you take a picture, it's beautiful and bright.
The entrance fee to the Sakura Bridge is 20 baht. It takes almost 2 hours from Chiang Mai city. It's really relaxing.

Elephant Sanctuary Chiang Mai
#getgoing2025
One of the most memorable experiences in Chiang Mai was visiting the Elephant Sanctuary. Here, I learned about the gentle giants who had been rescued from difficult circumstances. The sanctuary isn’t just a place to observe; it’s a chance to engage with the elephants in a respectful, ethical way. Feeding them bananas, bathing them in the river, and watching them roam freely in the forest felt like an honor. The love and care the staff showed for these magnificent creatures was palpable. It was a humbling experience, one that deepened my respect for these animals and the importance of ethical tourism.

Living large with elephants
Our visit to Living Green Elephant Sanctuary was an amazing experience! Knowledge was shared before heading over to the rescued elephants. Our trainers were funny and charming. The elephants are cared for and this is evident from the people and the elephants themselves. A must see when in Chiang Mai!

The cherry blossoms you placed
For those who love Thai Sakura (Dok Phaya Suea Krong), it will bloom every year at the Royal Agricultural Research Center, Chiang Mai, Khun Wang, which is considered the land of Thai Sakura. We will see the pink tunnel arches of the Tiger Lily all over the road during January to February of every year. It is suitable for taking beautiful photos for girls and for those who plan to propose. It is another suitable place. Everything will be pink. You can travel by car or motorcycle. There are both accommodations inside and outside the center, as well as a camping area. This place is located in Mae Win Subdistrict, Mae Wang District, Chiang Mai Province. #Dok Phaya Suea Krong #Khun Wang Sakura Tunnel #Visit Chiang Mai
Sakura Khun Wang Bridge
Sakura Bridge Khun Wang is located on the same route as the viewpoint of the Himalayan cherry blossoms at the Khun Wang Royal Agricultural Research Station. It is located first. The highlight is the garden decoration that has a Japanese atmosphere. There is a wooden bridge crossing the stream among the pink Himalayan cherry blossoms. There are also photo spots at various points, both the viewing terrace and the flower garden on the hill, where you can see the two limestone rocks of Pha Song Ru Du standing tall as a backdrop.

Bamboo Rafting Down Mae Wang River
Amazing experience.
Getting here was alittle tricky to start with. You can get a bolt taxi up but not back so your best option is to hire a private driver. We used a red songthaews (red truck), they will be all over the old city of chiang mai, just stick your arm out and they will stop. Tell them where you want to go and negotiate your price. They will drive you there, wait and drive you back. They usually speak little English but show them photos or place on Google maps and they will follow it. Make sure your following on Google maps they are going in the correct direction.
On the side of the road are little stalls, all have life vests, you pay and collect your vest. You then get on the back of a pick up truck who drives you a few minutes down the road. Your raft and guide will be waiting for you.
You’ll get wet so bring a spare pair of clothes to change into after.
A fun unique experience for all. #chiangmai #Maewangriver #bamboorafting
Campiness Camping & Farmsook

It's incredibly private, whether you're coming as a couple or with a group of friends. The place offers a variety of room styles to suit every type of relaxation. #ChiangmaiTravel
For anyone who goes to Chiang Mai, we highly recommend this temple...a beautiful temple in a big forest, Wat Luang Khun Win.
This place is over 700 years old and is located in the middle of a big forest. We don't know much about temples. When we went, we saw reviews, so we wanted to see it with our own eyes for once. This visit was not disappointing because this temple is shady and magical. The Buddha amulets are beautifully carved and everything looks perfect. We were amazed and thought that coming here was worth it. We want our friends to try it if they come to Chiang Mai and have time. #trip
