Castle of the Sea เมืองนี้ “ปราสาทริมทะเลสาบ“
#VisitPalacesAndCastles #100TravelTips
This castle is located in southern Germany, next to Lake Constance (Germans call it Bodensee). This city is very old since 630 AD when the Merovingian King Dagobert I built the Old Castle. Now the castle is a museum.
In this small city, a new castle has been built for the Bishop of Constantine (the review will have pictures of both castles).
The city is like a garden. It is divided into the upper city on a hill with a view of the lake in the distance and the lower city on the lakeside. The atmosphere is good, like a new city by the sea. Beautiful buildings, beautiful trees

Chilling in a small town by the lake ☘️ German-Swiss border
#LakeTravel #100TravelTips #Border
🧊 Come see the view, chill and walk at 🪝Meersburg, the lower city side, next to Lake Bodensee. Around the pier around the lake is very chill and beautiful.
🏌️♂️Uferpromenade Meersburg pedestrian street is located on the lakeside. The front view is a panoramic lake. There are chairs set up at intervals for tourists to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. On the other side are colorful houses. There are restaurants, bars, and cafes. The atmosphere is very good. Eat, drink coffee, and drink beer by the lake.
🌱 Summary... The vibes are super good. The shop buildings are painted in bright colors. It looks fun. You can spend a long time here (you should stay 1 night for the best experience).
🛥️ Travel:
1. Take a boat from Konstanz for about 6-7 euros.
2. Drive, but you have to take a detour. It takes about 60 minutes.

Worth a visit: Meersburg Castle 🏰
#timetotravel
Meersburg Castle, perched majestically on the shores of Lake Constance in Germany, is an enchanting historical treasure that left me in awe. This medieval gem, dating back to the 7th century, is a testament to the region's rich heritage.
Exploring its well-preserved halls and rooms, I felt transported to another era. The castle's interior, adorned with antique furnishings and medieval artifacts, provides a vivid glimpse into the life of its former inhabitants.
What truly captivated me was the panoramic view of Lake Constance from the castle's ramparts. The serene waters and the Swiss Alps in the distance create a mesmerizing backdrop.
Meersburg Castle is a must-visit for history enthusiasts and those seeking a blend of cultural heritage and natural beauty. It's a place where the past meets the present in a picturesque setting that's hard to forget. #castle #germany

Food & Restaurants - First we tried Detto Fatto! They asked for our reservation but we didn’t have any however were allowed! Since we only wanted one meal, the waitress said there is a minimum consumption! So we left since she was quite unfriendly! Then we went to Go-In Burger Place (Photo 11)! My wife had a pork steak and potato salad which was a kind of fast food style😂and she was desppointed! The waiter told the family next to us after finishing to eat they had to leave! Meersburg yes it is well worth a visit but the restaurants are spoilt with day trip visitors and crowded!! Hope you are luckier with the dining experience than me!
Shopping - Zierat Wohnzubehoer where I found those cute green frogs (photo 10)

Bodensee is beautiful especially the sunset views
Bodensee (Lake Constance)
The lake itself is situated at an altitude of 395 m above sea level and is already the mountain. Located precisely at the intersection of three European countries: Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
This lake is so much bigger when you are stand near to it. One of the famous European lakes. So many places to visits with amazing views. You could spend a day just travelling around it.
It's one of the warmest areas of the country, not just because of its southern latitude but also owing to the warming influence of the water, which gathers heat in summer and releases it in winter. The lake itself practically never freezes over—it has done so only once in the past two centuries. The climate is excellent for growing fruit.
Bodensee is popular for bird watchers (migratory birds), nature lovers, and outdoor adventurists for wild swimming, boating, sailing and paddleboarding.

Meersburg Germany
Meersburg is a town in Baden-Württemberg, southwestern Germany, located on Lake Constance. It is known for its well-preserved medieval town that is perfect for leisurely strolls. The old town is home to the Old Castle, built by Merovingian King Dagobert I in the 7th century, making it one of the oldest surviving castles in Germany. The castle is privately operated and open for tours. The lakeside area is also beautiful, ideal for finding a good restaurant to enjoy dinner while watching the sunset in Meersburg. Additionally, you can take a boat trip to the flower island of Mainau.

Hey there! Just got back from an amazing vacay at Meersburg Castle, and I can't wait to spill the beans! 🏰✨ The entrance fee was totally worth it – 10 euros for adults, but trust me, the experience is priceless.
The castle, perched on Lake Constance, blew my mind with its medieval charm and stunning views. 🌊 The guided tour took us through the rich history, secret passageways, and jaw-dropping rooms. 🕰️🛡️ The highlight? Climbing the tower for panoramic snapshots that belong in a fairy tale. #MagicalViews
What's cool is that Meersburg is a stone's throw away from the Zeppelin Museum and the charming Old Town, so we explored those gems too. 🏛️🚶♀️ Plus, there are cozy cafes around for a coffee fix.
Overall, Meersburg Castle is a must-visit for history buffs and anyone who loves a good castle adventure. 👑🏰 Can't wait to go back! #MeersburgMagic #CastleExplorer #germany

Meersburg, Germany, Lake Constance
Meersburg is a small town on the shores of Lake Constance in Baden-Württemberg in southwestern Germany, with a population of just over 6,000. The hotel offers a beautiful view of Lake Constance and the vineyards in the mountains surrounding the lake.
It is known for its medieval city, with two pedestrian-only staircases and a steep street connecting the upper and lower towns.
The town's core, the city of Meersburg, was founded in 630 by the Frankish King Dagobert I.
In 1211 the Bishop of Constance received tithes "near Meersburg", and from that time on Meersburg was always in the possession of the Bishop of Constance, although it received the status of a free city in 1299, it was still nominally governed by the Bishop of Constance until it fell into the Grand Duchy of Baden during the secularization of 1802/03.
The car ferry between Constance and Meersburg began operating in 1928, and this route became one of my frequent options for traveling between Germany and Switzerland.
Meersburg winegrowers are well-known in Germany, and rosé wine Weissherbst is a local specialty. #greentourism #germanytravel #overseastravel #germany #germantravel #germanwine #lake #castle #deutschland #meersburg #bodensee

South Seas
South Seas Island Resort
has an isolated island near the Gulf of Mexico called Captiva Island, which is part of Meersburg, Florida.
is not big here, it can even be said to be small. People are sparsely populated, but the scenery is beautiful. It takes hours to drive from Miami, but it's worth it. The waves kissed the beach and the sun shone on every roof.
There is a wild mangrove forest near Captiva Island, which hides many wild animals in nature. Its quite a wonderful thing to go deep into it by kayaking and follow the local biologists to explore the secrets of this mangrove.

The sky is
The sky is blue, the sea is blue, the blue is shallow to dry, and the air is clear. The castle is colored, the palace is colored, and the enthusiasm is like a fire, and the warmth is like a yang.
With more words of praise, there is no way to describe the scenery that I saw with my own eyes. We stood in the garden of the palace and looked down. What a luxury of the former royal family, luxury to monopolize this beauty. Nowadays, everyone who visits Meersburg can enjoy this beauty.

In German,
In German, see means lake, not ocean, Meer is the meaning of the ocean. This is a very good understanding of how Meersburg's name comes from. It is clearly a fortress standing by the lake, but it has a marine name. It can be seen that the lake here can be blue to make people enchanted.
It is more beautiful than the seaside. There is no snow mountain on the beach, and the Lake Meersburg can be.
