**Important things to know:**
1. **Getting there:** This plan requires a private car or renting a car (car/motorcycle) is the most convenient because the places are spread out. **Especially Phra That Phanom is far from the city (~60 km)** If you don't have a car, you may have to rely on a songthaew (Nakhon Phanom-That Phanom line), which will take longer and make it difficult to control the schedule. **You have to leave the city to That Phanom very early in the morning.** And you may have to rent a songthaew or motorcycle taxi for other places in the city.
2. **Sunset:** Sunset times vary depending on the season. You should check the sunset time that day and make an appointment to board the boat accordingly (usually the cruise starts about 1 hour before sunset).
3. **Book a boat:** **Book a boat in advance. **Especially during holidays or during peak tourist seasons** For confidence
4. **Dress code for temples:** Dress appropriately when visiting Wat Phra That Phanom (no sleeveless/sleeveless shirts, shorts/skirts above the knee)
5. **Weather:** Prepare sunglasses, sunscreen, hats, drinking water, especially during the day, and a light sweater for the evening on the boat or in winter
6. **Time:** This plan is quite tight. If you want to travel more leisurely or have elderly/small children, it is recommended to choose some spots or divide it into 2 days
