From the counter, you can see the chefs cooking directly, and the open kitchen makes your appetite whet even while you wait - a really great feature. For the main dish, we were impressed by the performance of live lobster and abalone cooked on the spot! Each dish was beautifully presented and delicious French cuisine. The chef was also very friendly, and we had a chance to chat. #FuriTabi Nijo Castle was a flat castle of the Tokugawa family and a detached palace of the Imperial family, without a castle tower. Please go and visit! It's large, so it took a long time to look around carefully, but I was very satisfied. After passing through the reception and the impressive gate, you will see the Nijo Castle. You can see the distinctive roof that was also featured in textbooks. It seems that high school students can get a discount. Not only the exterior, but the interior is also beautiful. The design is elaborate from the feet to the beams and ceiling. The floor is covered with nightingale, and it makes a squeaking sound. We went outside and enjoyed the garden. We were also able to see the snow prevention measures. There were pigeons on the bridge, and it was okay to get close. Japan, Kyoto Imperial Palace Garden The palace was the residence of the Japanese emperors for over 500 years until 1869 when the capital moved to Tokyo. There is no need for a guide since there s#kyoto is a very informative brochure given out in several languages. No one can enter any of the buildings. The gardens would be stunning in the spring with the cherry blossoms but were beautiful with the unique. Highly disappointing, as you get to see no part of the interior of the Palace, and there are many nicer buildings and gardens in Kyoto compared to this. Took the free English tour which was crowded (50+), and whilst the guide did his utmost to make it sound interesting, we found it a massive let-down. If you’re looking at going, suggest you choose the Nijo Castle in Kyoto which is unbelievable and you can see the history of a 400 year old building as opposed to a “reconstructed” Palace.#kyoto #Nijo #imperialpalace
