2025 Osmangazi Travel Guide: Must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transportation routes (updated in April)

Uludag is located in Bursa, Turkiye. During winter, the ski resorts will open for snowboarding and skiing. During other season, it can still be visited as national park. There are many hotel/lodge/resort at the top or along the way uphill but quite pricey, so we stayed in Bursa town and took a cable car (teleferik) to go to Uludag. It was ~30minutes journey from the town to the top. The cable car is one of the longest in the world. After arriving at the top teleferik station, we took a taxi to one of the ski resorts available there. We went to Uludag Kayak Merkezi. The equipment rental in Turkiye is one of the cheapest i’ve seen in the world (from my online survey hihi). There’s also ski lift (extra fee) to take us to the top of the top 🫣 there’re a cafe up there to chill and most professionals will snowboard/ski downhill from the top. tips: check weather forecast, it is best to come after a snowfall a night before. the view was amazing! snowfall on d-day might cause a gloomy foggy photo/view #awesomepic #winter #turkiye #wintersports #nationalpark

If you are looking for an adrenaline rush or just an awesome view to see in Winter, Uludağ mountain is the place to be. It is located in Bursa a city also know as the Ottoman capital of Turkey which is 90minutes away from Istanbul SAW airport. Very convenient transportation and quick! I could come here every week if given the chance. The ski resort in the mountain are level friendly, from beginner skiers to pro. In winter, Turkey is a great place to visit as it is the low season and snow falls in some areas. It is a great place to do winter sports. Uludağ mountain - Bursa Location: Located in Bursa, not too far from Istanbul (about 2.5 hours drive). How to get there: You can buy a one-day trip package from Istanbul for about $35. Reviews: - You can take a cable car up to the mountain and then a chairlift (500 TL round trip). - The weather on the mountain is quite changeable, so it is recommended to wear thick clothes. - The prices of food and drinks are quite expensive.

#bucketlistreboot Uludag is a mountain and skiing resort in Bursa Province, Turkey, with an elevation of 2543 metres. It is 195 kilometers 3 hours drive from Isranbul or 40 kilometers 1 hour and 15 minutes from Bursa. The skiing resort usually opens from December until late March, you can take the cable car from Bursa cable car station, there are a total of 3 cable car stations, you need to change at Sarialan to Kurbaga where the ski resorts are located. The opening times are 0900-1800, there are 28 kilometers of slopes available and 24 lifts transport the guests. You can also come to enjoy the snow view and take the lift chairs if you did not ski.
