I parked my car at the park and ride building and took the MRT to the meeting point with the team and participants. The team was led by Nong Wave (JUST READ), Phi Kiew, and Phi Mi. We walked to 9 bookstores in total, starting with Burapa Saan - Ruam Saan - Odeon Store - Khlang Witthaya - World at the Corner - Pia Book - Passport Book - Suksit Siam - Suan Ngern Mee Ma. During the trip, while visiting various bookstores, I gained a lot of knowledge. I got to talk to the owners of old bookstores who were uncles, aunties, grandparents, many of whom had been in business before I was born. Nowadays, society has changed, our lifestyles have changed, and our reading and buying patterns have also changed. Chinese Steamed Bun is located very near to Thipsamai restaurant. This shop may not be big, in fact the interior has limited seats but the siew mai is delicious and affordable. Sold in set of three dumplings, each set cost only 36 thai baht.
