Hiking at Den Chang Non EP 2.
Nan Province
✨On the first day, we walked leisurely, taking our time. Haha! It ended up being a 6-hour trek for the day. We reached the camp around 5 PM, just in time to set up the tents.
And then came the moment—the sun set behind the giant mountain. It was a breathtakingly beautiful moment, as if the world had stopped. Absolutely stunning and incredibly joyful 🧡🍃⛰️

Den Chang Non, Nan Province EP 1
📍Den Chang Non ⛰️
We never know what lies ahead, but one question keeps popping up in my mind: When will we finally get there?!!!!!
>>> So, this is it? Den Chang Non, the place everyone talks about. Just hearing the name makes you tense, right? And yes, it’s truly intense—your face, your legs, everything feels tight and strained!
The total route is 19.6 kilometers. Flat terrain? Forget it! It’s all steep climbs. From the very first step, it’s uphill all the way. Can we really make it, Vi? Especially with the 11-kilogram backpack we’re carrying.

Den Chang Non, Nan Province
🐘😴 Den Chang Non is part of Doi Phu Kha, located in Tambon Silaphet, Amphoe Pua, Nan Province. It has the highest peak at 1,980 meters above sea level. In the past, this place was used as a high-altitude reconnaissance point because Nan Airport could be seen from above. There are no facilities at all up there. We will start our walk at Silaphet Waterfall.
🚶 The first day is about 9 km. The path is steep from the first step, steep all the way.
🏕 The first day of our camp, we will set up our tents on the Den Chang Non ridge. There are quite a few places to set up tents. The ground is quite sloping. There is a place to hang hammocks.
⛰ The route on the second day will start from the camp, climbing the ridge. The path is a knife-edge ridge, quite narrow and requires caution. It goes all the way to the peak of 1,700. I must say that this point is very beautiful. It is the highlight of the trip.
🏕 The second day of our camp, we slept by the waterfall. The tent area is comfortable. The ground is flat. You can also play in the waterfall.
