Best wine shopping when you in Italy
#shoppingexperience
On the crest between Tuscany and Cortona, a wonderful journey up a typical cypress lined long gravel road to a beautiful old winery complex. Relaxing outside shady area for tasting. Yummy wines....especially the "liquid gold" Vin
Santo.
If you are in Tuscany for wines, by all means go taste the 50&50 you have heard about! But go home with something else. Vin Santo is not an everyday option in the US so maybe take some tiny bottles in a nice wooden box!
When arriving, you are offered a glass of one of their premium wines. The tour takes about 20 minutes with an experienced guide/sommelier. After to tour you are taken to a very nice area with a beautiful view across the rich Tuscan valley. We had a 4 course meal with a total of 8 wines sampled. These range from their best wines including the 50&50 that they are famous for bottling. This s definite must to visit on a very pleasant afternoon.

Excellent Experience in Montepulciano Winery
Montepulciano may not be as well known as the neighboring Tuscan cities of Florence and Siena, but it is definitely worth visiting. This small medieval town, perched high on a hilltop, is full of impressive Renaissance architecture, family-owned shops and restaurants, and some of Italy's best red wines.
Traffic is essentially banned inside the city walls, but you can park outside San Biagio, from where it's a short but steep walk into town. Alternatively, park in one of the car parks at Montepulciano's eastern end and then walk through Porta al Prato to piazza 😍

Truffle cuisine in Montepulciano, Italy 🍴 idyllic scenery

Osteria del Borgo, located in the medieval mountain wine town of Montepulciano, gets full marks just for the ambience of this restaurant! Enjoying a leisurely lunch in front of the idyllic scenery of Tuscany is really a wonderful time~
🔶 Tagliatelle al tartufo
Ordered a serving of black truffle spaghetti ~ the noodles were freshly handmade in the restaurant 👍🏼 slices of black truffles gently wafting fragrance on the noodles, holding a glass of local grape white wine, I was drunk!

Accommodations in Tuscany, Italy that you can enjoy for 100,000 won💚
#EuropeanTravel
With the beautiful scenery of the wide open blue Tuscany,
You can enjoy a hearty and filling breakfast, a swimming pool, and a cozy room
Agriturismo in Tuscany 🏡
Haven't you all dreamed of a quiet and leisurely healing romance in a European countryside home at least once..🫶
I did too, and when I was at an agriturismo during my trip to Italy,
I had the most comfortable and happy moments☺️
The place I used was for 4 people,
so it was spacious with 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms, and 2 kitchens,
and 170,000 won per night including breakfast👀 Isn't the price so reasonable?!
While looking at the picturesque Tuscan landscape,
If you have bread and a cup of coffee in the morning, it's healing itself✨
If you travel to Tuscany, Italy, be sure to stay at an agriturismo for one day☺️
More expensive and better agriturismos can even include a winery tour, so you can make a reservation that suits your needs.

The Contucci Winery in Montepulciano, Italy
I always thought wineries were located in vineyards, but to my surprise, there's a winery right in the heart of Montepulciano's old town. You can visit it freely during opening hours without any reservation and for free.
The history of 'Contucci' dates back to 1008, and it is recorded as one of the creators of Nobile wine in 1778.
On three floors, large barrels called Tonneau are lined up. Famous labels such as Nobile wine, Rosso di Montepulciano, Bianco di Contessa, and Vin Santo are produced here.

Madonna di San Biagio Church in Montepulciano, Italy
The old town of Montepulciano is situated on a hill, and the whiteness of the Madonna di San Biagio Church stands out against the green of the Chiana Valley.
The church is located about 500 meters downhill from the gate of the old town walls. Be cautious as the slope is quite steep.
The church was designed by Antonio da Sangallo the Elder. The interior of the church is also majestic. At the time, students were rehearsing their chorus, and their voices resonated in the high-ceilinged space.
There is an audio guide available for smartphones.
Ticket price: €4.50

From the City Hall of Montepulciano, enjoy the green landscapes of Tuscany.
The City Hall located in the Grande Piazza of Montepulciano is a 15th-century Renaissance building, reminiscent of a miniature version of the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence.
Climb the tower atop the City Hall to get a panoramic view of the brick-colored old town and the green meadows of the Chiana Valley. It's a unique pleasure that only a small town can offer.
Below the City Hall, there is a tourist information center with friendly staff ready to assist you.

Day trip to Montepulciano 🇮🇹
#italytrip
Montepulciano was an absolute highlight of my Tuscany trip! This hilltop town is straight out of a postcard, with its winding cobblestone streets and breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside 🌄🍷. We didn't need to pay any entrance fee to explore the town itself, which was great. Just walking through the historic center felt like wandering through a movie set, especially with all the Renaissance architecture.
First stop was the Piazza Grande, where the impressive Palazzo Comunale offers a fantastic view if you're willing to climb the tower – totally worth the small fee for the panorama at the top! After taking in the sights, we visited a couple of the underground wine cellars like Cantina de' Ricci. Entry was free, but we couldn’t resist buying a bottle (or two) of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano 🍷. The wine tastings were incredible and offered a real taste of the region's heritage.
We took a short stroll down to the Temple of San Biagio, about a 15-minute walk from the town center. The entrance was €3, and the serene setting with its Renaissance architecture is a peaceful escape from the busy streets. For lunch, we found a cozy trattoria overlooking the countryside and enjoyed some of the best pasta and local cheese I've ever had 🍝🧀.
Montepulciano is perfect for a day trip full of culture, history, and of course, amazing wine. I can't recommend it enough!

Montepulciano, the most beautiful of Italy's small cities✨
Montepulciano
Montepulciano, famous for its wine, is famous for the De' Ricci Cantine Storiche in Montepulciano winery, where you can taste wine yourself and run a winery!
This is where Twilight New Moon was filmed, and the nature seen through the gaps in the alleys is so beautiful.
I recommend visiting Montepulciano, where every photo spot becomes a photo zone!

🍷 De' Ricci Winery De' Ricci Cantine Storiche in Montepulciano
I visited the De' Ricci Cantine Storiche in Montepulciano, a traditional winery of the De' Ricci family located in a village in Montepulciano, Italy. They were using a church built 1,300 years ago as a winery. I was able to see hundreds of years old oak barrels and gain new knowledge while listening to explanations about Italian wine.
The perfect temperature for storing wine is said to be 14-16 degrees, but the cellar is naturally cool, which was amazing.
I learned about the wine of the De ricci family, one of the most famous wines in Italy, and those who wanted to buy wine were able to buy it.
If you are curious about Italian wine, visit Derich's winery 💚

Italy Toscana👍🏼Wooden mosaic art shop

Tuscany made of small wooden blocks is so beautiful!
I have always admired the craftsmanship of Italian artists! Arnaldo Frassinetti, a painter in Montepulciano, used small wooden boards of different tones and textures to piece together one Tuscan landscape after another 😍 Full of layering ~ It is a very good art souvenir.
The gallery is open to the public, and although the store is simply filled with paintings, it fully reveals the low-key elegance of this medieval mountain town.

Toscana, Italy 🍷 The medieval wine town of Montepulciano
#Overseas Travel
Although the medieval mountain town of Montepulciano is beautiful, its wine has overshadowed it.
The wine produced here, Vino nobile di Montepulciano, is one of the three famous wines in Tuscany! There are countless tourists visiting the winery! Right in the city center, there are already several winery basements that can be visited freely 👍🏻.
If you like to drink a glass, you can also try to drink a glass of wine... 🍷
Montepulciano is a veritable wine town in the mountains, surrounded by lush green grape fields... It has stunning scenery and delicious wines, it's a great place!
There are many viewing spots in the town where you can enjoy the idyllic scenery of Tuscany.

#mynovgeta
#mynovgetaway Montepulciano is a medieval hilltop town in Tuscany, Italy. Surrounded by vineyards, it’s known for its vino nobile red wine. The Torre di Pulcinella is a clock tower topped by a figure of the Pulcinella, a commedia dell’arte character. On the Piazza Grande is the 14th-century Palazzo Comunale, with a tower offering views of the surrounding countryside. Also here is the Duomo, with a huge triptych above its altar. According to legend, it was founded by the Etruscan King Lars Porsena of Chiusi. Recent findings prove that a settlement was in existence in the 4th-3rd centuries BC. In Roman times it was the seat of a garrison guarding the main roads of the area.
After the fall of the Western Roman Empire, it developed as a religious center under the Lombards. In the 12th century it was repeatedly attacked by the Republic of Siena, which the Poliziani faced with the help of the Perugia and Orvieto, and sometimes Florence, communes. The 14th century was characterized by constant struggles between the local noble families, until the Del Pecora family became rulers of the town. From 1390, Montepulciano was a loyal ally (and later possession of Florence and, until the mid-16th century, lived a period of splendour with architects such as Antonio da Sangallo the Elder, Jacopo Barozzi da Vignola, Baldassarre Peruzzi, Ippolito Scalza and others, building luxurious residences and other edifices here. In 1559, when Siena was conquered by Florence and Montepulciano lost its strategic role, its importance declined.

When you c
When you come to Tuscany, you must experience the idyllic winery of this pearl. As long as you are driving, you must not miss the local winery! The selection of the Avignonesi winery is mainly based on a huge round grape field. After the aerial photos, you can see how spectacular it is.
The winery is located near the small town of Valiano, on the left side of the medieval town of Montepulciano, a few kilometres away, and the historic town of Cortona in the right. Surrounded by beautiful vineyards, buildings, chapels, and ancient stone wine cellars.
The wine cellar can be seen in the wine cellar and there are many wines. The very beautiful environment in the manor, Imagine how comfortable life is.
Lunch at the winery, you need to book in advance, sitting in the manor surrounded by the pastoral scenery, smelling the fresh and fragrant smell of the air, to the locals without asking, life is fast.
